Description: Debian has reported a vulnerability in eldav, which can be exploited by malicious people to take certain actions on a system with escalated privileges.
The problem is that insecure permissions are set on temporary files in "/tmp". This can be exploited via symlink attacks to create or overwrite arbitrary files on a system with the privileges of the user running emacs and eldav.
