Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in CuteNews, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct Cross-Site Scripting attacks against other users.

The vulnerability is caused due to missing validation of user input supplied in posted messages. A malicious user can exploit this to execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser session by including it in a post.

Successful exploitation can result in disclosure of the MD5 hash of a user's password, which is stored in a cookie, or inclusion of malicious content, which the user thinks is part of the real website. Furthermore, if an administrator views a malicious post, it is possible to silently create a new administrator account.
