Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in Mac OS X, which can be exploited by a malicious person with physical access to a system to bypass the password protected screensaver.

It is possible to crash the screensaver and gain full access to the desktop by supplying an overly long string (between 1280 and 1380 characters) in the password field.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 10.2.6. However, prior versions may also be affected.

Reportedly, this vulnerability affects all Cocoa applications.
