CVE Reference(s):

Description

Conectiva has issued updated packages for mnoGoSearch. These fix two vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on a vulnerable system or compromise it.

A boundary error in the "ul" variable can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow, which potentially allows execution of arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the web server.

An older similar vulnerability in the "q" query variable has also been fixed.
