Description:
Debian has issued an update for eroaster to fix a vulnerability allowing malicious users to overwrite arbitrary files.
The problem is that eroaster creates a temporary lockfile in an insecure manner. This allows malicious users to overwrite arbitrary files which the user running eroaster got write access to.
