Description: Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in WebCalendar allowing malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and potentially SQL injection attacks.
1) Some input isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.
Examples:
colors.php?color=[code]
week.php?user=[code]
"day.php", "month.php", "week_details.php", "view_l.php", "view_m.php", "view_t.php", "view_v.php", "view_w.php" and "week_details.php" all fail to verify the "eventinfo" parameter.
2) Input passed to the "user" and "password" parameters in "login".php isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This may be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
Solution: The vulnerabilities have reportedly been fixed in version 0.9.44 and later.
