Solution:
Sun is not planning on releasing any patches. However, administrators are advised to use one of the following solutions:

1) Enable strong (AUTH_DES) authentication by adding "-S 2" to the sadmind entry in "inetd.conf".
2) Disable the sadmind daemon.

Furthermore, RPC services should not be accessible to systems on the Internet. Traffic should therefore be blocked at the network perimiter.
