Description

Debian has reported a vulnerability in ipmasq, which can be exploited by malicious people to send traffic to systems, which should be restricted by the firewall.

Reportedly, the vulnerability is caused due to improper filtering rules. Inbound packets received on the external interface and addressed for an internal host are forwared to the host regardless of whether they are associated with an established connection or not.
