Description: A vulnerability has been identified in FreeBSD, which can be exploited by malicious people on a local network to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The problem is that the "arplookup()" function doesn't delete unnecessary ARP entries in the cache when responding to ARP requests. This can be exploited by flooding a system with numerous spoofed ARP requests within a small time period.
Successful exploitation causes resource starvation and may lead to a kernel panic.
