Description:
Sun has issued updated packages for OpenLDAP. These fix some old vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system or escalate privileges.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to multiple boundary errors in libldap and the slapd and slurpd daemons, as well as other security issues related to the handling of configuration files.
