Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Atrise Everyfind, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct Cross-Site Scripting attacks against visitors.

The problem is that user input supplied in a search form is not properly sanitised before being displayed in a search result. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser session by tricking the user into visiting a malicious website or clicking a specially crafted link.

Successful exploitation may disclose sensitive information (eg. cookie-based authentication information) associated with the site running Atrise Everyfind or inclusion of malicious content, which the user thinks is part of the real website.

The vulnerability is reported in version 5.0.2. However, prior versions may also be affected.
