Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in MPNews PRO, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose the content of arbitrary files on the system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error. This can be exploited via directory traversal attacks to gain access to files outside the web root.

Example:
http://[victim]:81/./.././../[existing_file]

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.1.0.18. However, other versions may also be affected.
