Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in Windows Media Player allowing malicious media files to launch URLs in the Local Zone.

The problem is that URLs embedded in media files aren't properly verified allowing malicious people to create media files that launch malicious code in the Local Zone.

This vulnerability may be related to a previously reported issue:
