Entry written by Chaitanya Sharma, Security Specialist.

It’s time again to talk about the interesting vulnerabilities of the past quarter in the next episode of our ResearchCast series. Our ResearchCast series is an information sharing platform, where at the end of each quarter we talk about the on-goings in the security industry including vulnerability trends, 0-days, and some interesting vulnerabilities.

In the Q3 ResearchCast, we’ll discuss some evolving trends and 0-days affecting Java, Internet Explorer, Windows Common Controls, and Flash Player. Later, we’ll also discuss an Oracle Database vulnerability and a very interesting vulnerability in the Windows Shell affecting all Windows versions up to and including Windows 7.

For all this and more, please view our ResearchCast on Secunia's official YouTube channel here

Stay Secure,

Chaitanya Sharma
Security Specialist
