From the 20th of September Secunia has hired Jacob Bratting Pedersen as Chief Operating Officer.
Jacob Bratting Pedersen will be responsible of the daily operations in close cooperation with the CEO, Niels Henrik Rasmussen, with a clear focus on strengthening and developing internal processes and resources.
Throughout his career, Jacob Bratting Pedersen has focused on investments in, and development of, technology companies, and has sourced and completed a large number of investments. Furthermore, due to his entrepreneurial skills and enthusiasm, he has been involved in several technology based start-up companies with great success. Jacob Bratting Pedersen has extensive internationalisation experience, and has lived and worked abroad for more than six years.
Jacob Bratting Pedersen has been working as Investment Director at Olicom A/S from 2000 to 2005, Founder & Business Development Manager at Dynaton ApS from 2003 to 2007, Investment Manager at Invest Denmark, New York from 2005 to 2007, and Founder & Group Manager at DABGO Danmark from 2007 to 2008. Most recently, Jakob Bratting Pedersen held the position as Investment Director at NorthCap Partners. He graduated as M.Sc. in Business Administration and Commercial Law from Copenhagen Business School in 1995.
Jacob Bratting Pedersen, will be joining an organisation that has been highly profitable during all years, with Secunia experiencing high growth, with the headcount doubling and revenues increasing by 50% from 2008 to 2009. As COO, having experience and strong competencies within business development, internationalisation, legal, and administration, Jacob Bratting Pedersen will support and enhance the further development of the Secunia business and streamline internal operations.
