Secunia integrated with Microsoft WSUS

14:06 CET, 18th January 2010 By Jakob Balle.

Today the first customers are invited to beta test the:

Secunia Corporate Software Inspector (CSI)
- integrated with Microsoft WSUS for 3rd party Patch Management

Initially we are running a closed, by invitation only, beta testing, in February we will open the beta testing and invite everybody to try out the new awesome Patch Management features, which we believe will make it a breeze to patch the majority of all 3rd party programs.

You can request to become a beta tester by filling out this form:
http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/corporate/csi_beta_microsoft_wsus_integration/ ( link is not valid any longer)

We run the open beta testing to ensure that our new solution will fit the requirements of as many IT-departments as possible, as well as showing the software industry that unified and simplified Patch Management is possible and desirable for all.

My team is excited to hear your feedback, positive as negative, bug reports as well as feature requests. Only by getting really broad feedback can we make our products truly great.

We would appreciate feedback both on the software inspection, results, reporting, Microsoft WSUS integration, repackaging, setup and implementation, usability, and so on.

I'm looking forward to getting your feedback.

Patch and Stay Secure,

Jakob Balle
IT Development Manager
