I have switched from XP to Vista Business. I installed Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard 7.0. Upgraded all the way to 7.09. Under XP all was well once I installed the latest Reader. It didn't help this time under Vista and Secunia. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and then installed the latest Adobe Reader, but I continue to get the warning. I can't afford to buy Acrobat 9, so is there an alternative so I can continue to make PDF files??

I think Secunia should simply indicate that 7.x cannot be made secure despite all efforts with updates. I have spent the last hour - including 4 or 5 reboots and 3 or 4 downloads trying to resolve the insecure warning with no change. I like Secunia. I do not like it when I have this kind of an experience.

Yes, I've had the same experience. It's not possible to make it secure. I'll live with 99% secure!

Well, I reinstalled Reader 9 for the third time. I guess that was charmed. Since then Secunia has given me an all clear.
