Dear Secunia Community,

A note to let you know that the Secunia corporate website has received a new look and feel - introduced today. Focus of the updated website has been on usability and making Secunia's offerings more accessible to our website visitors i.e. free Secunia PSI, OSI, advisories, and whitepapers etc.

For the next few weeks we will be making additional enhancements and updates, while we will also work with the look and feel of the Secunia Community. These changes will be introduced on an on-going basis - so keep an eye on the website.

As always your input and feedback is very welcome and should be sent to marketing@secunia.com

Thank you.

Stay secure,

Maria Eriksen-Jensen
VP Business Development & Marketing

There seem to be some formatting problems with Firefox 6.0. For example these pages:

Here's a screen shot of the first one
https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=1d9ed8895b8d31fe&sc...

The section below 'Become a partner' is wrong. The screenshots lower down the page (not shown) are in a single column down the left instead of spread over the page.
Similarly, the FAQ page is all compressed to the left.
It could be something with my Firefox but everything else looks OK.

Update:

I had a look in the error console as you said it looked OK to you. There were errors related to the Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant. I disabled it and everything now displays correctly.

Hi dd
Thanks for screen shot...
fwiw > I've had Framework Assi disabled since M$ first pushed it at FF. Never missed it afaik.
Truth be told. Have no idea why I might need it. FF reports update 1.3.1 available. Tried installing. Nothing happens? So, I'll continue to ignore Framework Assi until I understand why I need it.

This could be completely unrelated and beside the point, but an "ordinary" community login (not directly via PSI) on Chrome 13.x (stable + actual) required full screen mode on my win 7 box. Otherwise the login popup isn't reachable: top visible, bottom with relevant buttons "outside" of Chrome window (near the bottom of the browser window).

The forum (incl. the window with the text input box where I write this) is shown with a horizontal scrollbar. The reply button is half hidden at the right edge, horizontal scrolling allows to see about three times of the required width - everything to the right of the reply button is of course just empty. If this is a problem on your side please revert to XHTML 1 transitional without any new tricks, or add Chrome to your list of tested browsers starting with IE6.

Hi xyzzy ,

That is exactly my problem when I use more than the default 100% zoom setting .

To see the "enter button" in the log-in box you need to decrease your zoom setting (spanner top rhs of browser) ; the empty space in the orient is perplexing but also disappears at default ; I just cannot see very much without a spyglass , which means I am presently forced into only/mostly using Firefox where a similar problem exists , but I can correct most problems with a resetting of overall and text zoom , plus link colours changes , using the "NoSquint" mozilla add-on/extension . Cannot find an equivalent (that works) for Chrome :((((

Similar points are raised in this thread (scroll down) :-

http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/112...

I have already emailed markiting@secunia.com on this viewing problem , as per the request by the (Secunia) OP , perhaps you might wish to do the same with your specific details .

Take care

Anthony
