I've uninstalled, downloaded and re-installed the latest version of PSI today. Running W7 64Bit Professional with all updates installed, latest version of Java and Flash. Java is enabled Symptoms are that the dashboard window builds, opens the Secunia logo in the center and then sits. No error messages. The API is apparently running in background, as various messages display from time to time to changes, etc. Trying to run a scan from the website causes complaints of the Java applet not loading and the scan never actually runs when I push the start button. Any suggestions? Paul |

I found this tip in another thread and it fixed the problem. How anyone found this out is a minor miracle in my opinion. Go into regedit. Lookup and and make the change indicated. 'Access the key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Internet Settings \ Zones \" Here the individual Internet zones are shown for the call. In general, the zones "0,1,2,3 and 4 are displayed. If, before the "0", another entry is present, select it and remove the entry.' My problem is resolved. You can close this thread. Paul |

Hi Paul , If you click the "Accept" button under this post you can close the thread yourself ; otherwise you need to wait until it is picked up by support . It will auto lock after 7 days of "non-use" . As this is the subject type of thread that attracts tag-on posts and spam , you now have control should you need it .
