FutureMark 3DMark06 is a gaming benchmark that is not at its end of life! I have the most recent version installed. It is the latest Futuremark benchmark tool for Windows XP and DirectX 9. The 3DMark11 is for Windows 7 and does not work for Windows XP! Besides it is for DirectX11. DirectX11 is not available for Windows XP!

Secunia needs to revise its information.

Hello.
According to the Secunia Adviisory for 3DMarkO6 it seems to be in the clear. See here :-

Please supply the Troubleshoot Report for someone to be of more assistance :-

True it has no security problem. It is being noted as "end of life". It is not at its end of life since it is an active program from Futuremark and is the ONLY Windows XP benchmark for gaming for Windows XP!!!

Additionally there is no trouble to report.

Hello again....I don't know anything about the program at all......it may still be Active....but End of Life as noted by Secunia means that it is no longer supported by the Vendor.
You can choose to continue using it.....psi is notifying you of it's situation re security updates.
Other XP users on the forum may have more information.
Hope this helps.......regards,

Hi,

Having reinvestigated the issue, I tend to agree with your conclusion that 3DMark06 is not EOL (The latest patch was released 11'th of February 2010, and there are no unpatched flaws in 06).

Therefore, if you scan again, the program will not be shown as EOL.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I knew it was not at end of life since it is still on Futuremark's main page and is downloadable. I could not rescan the program only. I had to rescan everything. Shows 100% now.

Thanks again.
