Hello all, At 2011-10-14 Secunia has released Secunia Advisory SA46375: “Opera Nested SVG Content Processing Code Execution Vulnerability” Link: http://secunia.com/advisories/46375 Today Opera has released version 11.52 of their web-browser. According to Opera version 11.52 should solve the above vulnerability. Link: http://www.opera.com/docs/changelogs/windows/1152/ After installing Opera 11.52 and a full PSI scan Opera 11.52 is correctly recognised under “Scan results”. However under “Secure browsing” PSI still detects Opera 11.52 as “Unpatched, no vendor resolution” and points to SA46375. Only 1 instance of Opera is present according PSI under C:\Program Files\Opera\opera.exe, version 11.52.1100.0 Question: Is Opera 11.52 still vulnerable or not? Have a nice day, Websafe. |

Hello all, Just checked PSI again and now under “Secure browsing” Opera 11.52 is recognised as “patched”. Perhaps a PSI update. Websafe. |

Hello Websafe , Major browser updates - especially platform changes - can take a while to display in the Scan Results module while support update the PSI detection rules ; often the "Secure Browsing" module lags even further behind due to extra complications . Of course postng , here when your patience is exhausted , just means that the display updates behind your back :)) Pleased you are sorted .
