Hello.
In the time I've been on the forum today.......the icon has turned red and I can't even get to Verification of Internet Connection......it does seem as though there's server problems.
The message you've posted seems synonymous with such.......

Regards,

I agree PSI has suddenly stopped working. No stats no program data a completely blank screen.

I wonder what has happened - the hamster has probably died...

I have the exact same problem. Secunia is reading RED at 0% and I get the same error message when I click on Dashboard.

I ran a scan and the scan completed with a perfect score of 0 insecurity but still wont list any of my programs and wont change the RED 0% to a GREEN 100%.

I hope someone is going to shed some light on this real soon!

OK

I closed PSI by System Tray and reopened Secunia PSI Tray from Start Menu and VOILA!

Everything back to normal except the ICON in the tray monitor is still RED. Everything in the Secunia APP is correctly showing (GREEN 100% -- Programs etc..)

Hope this helps some one else.

I tried closing and opening again and back to the same result. There is definitely something going wrong.

There are two options in start menu Secunia PSI and Secunia PSI Tray. Only when I open Secunia PSI Tray does it display correctly. But the system Tray still shows RED. I am not convinced that Secunia is properly monitoring my System. It does however display my latest scan from today.

I hope this bug gets fixed soon!!

@cgordon311
Well done.....your method has worked to some extent for me too.....using psi 2.0.0.4003

When I did eventually get past Verification etc...I was confronted with all blank Dashboard, Scan Results so on and so forth. I was welcomed to Scan as if I'd just downloaded.
Ran a scan tho'...back to 100% except the balloon pop up whilst Results were being loaded stayed at 0%....same too for the red icon.
All the pages then became populated......have yet to check Secure Browsing tho'.

PSI is now showing a score of 98% with three updates needed. Two to Sun Java JRE 1.6 and one to Oracle Java JRE 1.7.

But the strange thing is that I have two amber columns on my dashboard - this week (#44) and last week (#43). It's strange because I scan and check at least twice a week and I was green 100% last week.

Just going to scan again.

Scan confirmed 98%. The Sun updates have been scheduled but there was an error downloading the Oracle update. I'll leave it a while and see if I need to update them manually.

Did anyone else have this problem?

I'm all back to "normal" again....icon green and showing 100% after another scan. Version 4003 is also back up to scan speed : achieved yesterday after updating.

@taffy..........do you need all those Java ? I've been managing without it for months now.

strange for me, after re install on Win 7 home premium 64bit 0% score everything red. Closed and restarted from start menu and started scan. got results which shortly disappeared however stil red status. after 2 program new starts via start menu results stay and without any further interference after another 5 minutes icon turned green could determine that it updated sun java. now all o.k. working as usual.. secunia 2.0 2004
