I am reluctant to run OSI because of this message.
"The digital signature was generated with a trusted certificate but has expired."
I have a screen shot of the details if that would help diagnose this problem.

Hello Glixx !
My first thought 'pon reading your post....was that I try running OSI....then Whoops ! That necessitates loading a Java applet....I'm not just reluctant: I'm averse to such !
Support will be in on Monday, and then they'll hopefully be able to clarify the situation.
Meantime, have you thought of giving psi a run 'round the block....it's much more comprehensive in what it detects....Flash nor Java is required for the recent versions.
The Faq's can be read thro' here :-

Hope the foregoing helps......regards,

Hello Glixx and all,

Tried to run OSI myself. (Yes Java installed).
Also received the message:
"The digital signature was generated with a trusted certificate but has expired."
I have copied some of the certificate;

Issuer: CN=Thawte Code Signing CA,
O=Thawte Consulting (Pty) Ltd.,
C=ZA
Validity: [From: Wed Nov 11 01:00:00 CET 2009,
To: Sat Nov 12 00:59:59 CET 2011]
Subject: CN=Secunia,
OU=Secunia,
O=Secunia,
L=Copenhagen,
ST=Copenhagen,
C=DK

The certificate seems to been valid until 11-11-11.

I do expect Support will look after this issue on next Monday.

Just as Mogs wrote; you might consider using the Personal Software Inspector.
The PSI uses: https://secunia.com/
And this certificate is still valid.

Have a nice day,

Websafe.
