I have the latest version of PSI on all of my computers. I also have RealPlayer on all my computers. PSI notified me that RealPlayer 14 was end-of-life. On all computers, I installed the solution. However, on one of them, PSI does not recognize the update (it does on all the rest). The update completed successfully to v. 15 - that's what it shows in "About". Does anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening only on one computer?

@Reverb

Have you tried re-booting before running a full scan ?

When you updated the other pc's.....did Realplayer remove the older version ? I'm supposing it did....if it had been manually....you'd have already removed the vulnerability psi is still detecting as EoL.
Perhaps 'tis best to remove the vulnerability before installing the new version........

To delete a vulnerable file or folder using PSI 2 :

1. Open psi and go to Scan Results.

2. Alongside the vulnerable prog. is a "+" sign.

Clicking on that will reveal Detected Instances..

3. Below, are two yellow folders. Click the one without a red dot.
It will open Windows Explorer and you will be able to view the vulnerable files/folders.

4. Right click and delete.

The other method you might consider, is using Revouninstaller which you may/may not be familiar with.....which has the ability to clear out any left-over entries. Ask if you require more info.
I still find myself wondering as to whether you're certain or not that psi has not detected both the old and new Realplayer versions.

Thanks for your help - turns out that the offending file was in a temp folder. Deleted it, and all is well.

Thanks for your help -
i really appreciate it
