PSI shows that Internet Explorer, Powerpoint Viewer, and Vista are insecure and need to be updated.
Windows Update does not find any needed updates to these programs.
PSI fixes go directly to Windows Update, so there is no fix.

@tbarnum........

Hello.
It is not clear from your post.........have you run a full psi scan recently ?

The following procedure is recommended....from FAQ's here :-
http://secunia.com/products/consumer/psi/faq/#q2

Windows Update says my Windows files are up to date, but the Secunia PSI is still reporting my software as insecure. What should I do?
Frequently, Windows updates require you to reboot, or may be installed over several turns. To ensure you are really up to date, try following this procedure:

1) Check Microsoft Update, install all patches marked as 'critical'
2) Reboot your system
3) Repeat step one, and go to step 2 if anything was installed at this step (repeat as needed)
4) Run a full rescan with the PSI

Hope it helps.......regards,
