I have looked and looked and tried different solutions and still haven't figured out what is going on, but...
I have an 100% score. Have uninstalled Secunia, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled, checked to see if I clicked on the exe file for psia...just maybe things would clear up. Have found the few most recent "fixes" that are listed in the forum and nothing....

Can someone please help with this issue? I would greatly appreciate it (and it would be nice that if Secunia is in such great charge of other program updates that it would also police itself). Not complaining I LOVE it, but it is kinda like me telling kids and their friends to be safe while I am jumping off a bridge...teaches them well...and makes others wonder if I am really watching my behavior and responsibilities.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Many Thanks
oz

What is your OS ? Have you checked that all your settings conform to those in the FAQ's here :-
http://secunia.com/products/consumer/psi/faq/#s3
If using XP.....note also those further down.
When you install.....do you let it remove the previous file/version ?
From the psi Dashboard....Configurations/Settings.......have you checked the box " Show detailed program changes " ?
Hope it helps........regards,

I am sorry. I am running Vista 64 bit. If there is other info you need just let me know. I have worked through the steps that you sent and they did not work. I bypassed the step asking to remove the check at “Check for server certificate revocation" and went on to check for 'Secunia PSI Agent' and 'Secunia Update Agent. I did have Secunia PSI Agent listed w/startup type of automatic, but did not have Secunia Update Agent listed in the services area. Unsure if this is the cause of the problem. Please advise.
Many Thanks

Regarding the removing of the check at "Check for server certificate revocation"......I seem to remember that it's advantageous to do so before install, and that if you are concerned about it....once you've installed, to re-check it.
I'm using Vista...tho' 32bit.....but have left it unchecked. I use Chrome Dev as my default browser which does check for server certificate revocation.
Why the Update Agent is'nt showing in Services....I'm not sure.....but may very well be contributory to the problem.

Do you get a clean bill of health if you run CHKDSK on your C drive ?
Having done that and cleared out temp. files etc., ....do you use CCleaner (?)...the Registry Cleaner within it is very gentle too......Try re-installing and let it remove the previous file/version.

Hope the foregoing helps.....regards,
