@Ziff
Not sure why Secunia is not pickin' it up on your system........it's aware of the vulnerabilities as reported here :-
http://secunia.com/advisories/47133/ and the solution to patch to 9.4.7

Have you got it installed on an unmonitored drive ?
Have you got an Ignore rule in place ?
Have you run a recent full scan ?

No
No
Twice

I am leaning towards there just being an overlap, that it was already updated. When I clicked on install I literally blinked and it said it was finished.

Seems likely.....the patch was available from Friday I think. The main thing is that you're not vulnerable.

Hi,

If the product is shown as "Up-To-Date" immediately after a full rescan, the product should be completely patched according to our advisory.

Thus you should be able to depley Reader 7.4.7 with the PSI simply.

Is this possible?

I have a problem here with adobe reader.

After patching PSI still says I am using 9.4.6.252.

When starting the reader and look at "About Reader" it says 9.4.7. ( I started it through AcroRd32.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader).

But the properties of that exe still says Version 9.4.6.252.

Any idea?

regards

gnjb
