Secunia reported EOL on Silverlight V4. I downloaded and installed V5 and re-scanned, even rebooted and re-scanned, but the message persisted. The Control Panel showed V5 as being the only version installed and the install history confirmed this. I had to go to the Control Panel and manually uninstall V5 (the only version available to uninstall) and then re-install it from the downloaded file in order to get rid of the V4 EOL message. I am not asking for help on this, just informing others who might experience the same problem. |
