Hi. I presume that Secunia will shortly update their notice. The latest one shown in detail was earlier in the year:
http://secunia.com/advisories/product/32912/?task=...

In any event, it is recommended that you start a thread of your own rather than tag on to something in this section.

@taffy
A reply in this section ( Programs ) is unlikely to be penalized, is it ? Or have I missed something ?

@CS Galloway

Did you reboot and carry out a full psi scan after updating ? According to the Secunia Advisory, there are no vulnerabilites if the program is fully patched......see here :-

Hi Mogs. No - I'm not suggesting (on this occasion) that there would be a penalty. I simply suggested that there would be more chance of a reply with a separate thread, rather than tag on to a Secunia Official's post.

But you have replied so hopefully the problem will now be resolved.

But you referred to the same thread that I did - months ago - so why this latest post by Secunia?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone who read this!!!

Morning .....just a little misunderstanding on my part it seems......I too can't see the reason for the additional Secunia post....it doesn't appear to register any changes from that already in the Advisory.

Hope you're having a pleasant holiday.

no problem, Mogs! Hope you too are having a great holiday.

Why is it that no-one apart from we two seem interested in wishing others compliments of the season? Is everyone shy? No-one else has even bothered to thank the Secunia team and all those who spend a lot of their own time helping others here!

Hello taffy and Mogs ; or should I say the Ghosts of Christmas Past or even a couple of Old Chestnuts .

Secunia did not open , post to or create this thread .

As has been discussed umpteen times within the Forum , if you (inadvisedly) are first to post in the "comments" section of either a Secunia Advisory or a Secunia Vulnerability Report a thread opens in either the Vulnerability or the Program "sub-Forum" . In order to control the thread in these two specific circumstances , a Secunia logo header "automatically" opens the thread with a brief reference .

If you wish to help people get more/quicker help and avoid negative votes - that too is an ancient topic , wrinkled and has been done to death repeatedly - then advise the ignorant , misguided , lazy poster accordingly : ie: to create their own thread and certainly do not tag-on to one opened in the Vulnerability "sub-Forum" .

Bussy , busy .

Seasons Greetings and Joyeuses Fetes .

Anthony

Hello Anthony !
It seems I have missed something then....the umpteen discussions !!
Thanks for clearing the matter up

As regards Spiritual compatriots in the nether world or like minded base-liners of the Fleshy School.....this is simply not apt !! Me and taffy are from two different parts of the same city.....I don't know all the rat-runs in Paris !!! Haha !
