If you use Norton, please be aware of a fake email.

It's headed "New Year Norton Renewal Offer" and is shown as being from
"Norton Renewals <subscription@nortonrenewalzone.com>".

It tells you that Norton is withdrawing the auto-renewal facility. It explains what you should now do and directs you to "their" website. It says that you can claim up to six months free extension of your subscription by doing doing it.

It look authentic.

Norton have confirmed that it's a scam, warning do not click on the link etc.

I fully realise that most members here will never open an email that appears to be "dodgy" but if this thread saves just one member from disaster, then it will have been worthwhile "in my humble opinion"!
