Having very recently re-installed psi after some reorganization following on from a recent bout of non connectivity.....and having installed all of the updates Patch Tuesday.....here was I thinking IE9 was reasonably safe.....having already been aware of the Not Safe for Browsing status shown in Secure Browsing feature previously. Only today have I gotten to look more closely.
Patched in Scan Results....unaltered status in SB feature....it was only when I double clicked on the Patched entry....and then on the SA48028 Advisory that I realized.
Perhaps a new user might not bother....and could be forgiven tho' unreassured for perhaps thinking he/she was more secure.
It seems very misleading to me that even where there exists some explanation in the Secure Browsing....that IE is shown with the least critical rating....whereas in SA48028 it is shown as a Highly Critical vulnerability.
Thought it might be worth a little more exposure.
