I have Firefox 10 installed on WIn 7 64 bit. Secunia tells me I have Firefox 4.x in stalled and it is at end of life. Firefox 4 definetly not there.Only one Firefox folder in programs folder.
Secunia also show Firefox 10 installed and up-to-date.,
Can anyone help me with this? Many thanks

@billone

If using psi 2, have you tried the following procedure for removing the vulnerable entry ?
:

1. Open psi and go to Scan Results.

2. Alongside the vulnerable prog. is a "+" sign.

Clicking on that will reveal Detected Instances..

3. Below, are two yellow folders. Click the one without a red dot.
It will open Windows Explorer and you will be able to view the vulnerable files/folders.

4. Right click and delete.
Perform a full scan to confirm all in order.

Hope it helps.........regards........

Many thanks. I should have seen that for myself - must try to be more careful next time before asking for help. It turned out to be part of the remains of an older operating system on another disc - me being careless again.
Your help very much appreciated.
