Hello, I've tried to create an update package for Firefox 11. In the SPS if I click on Add Localisatzion File I get the error, that no additional localization file can be found. I've tried to change the file to include in the package from http://dl.secunia.com/SPS/Firefox Setup 11.0 en-GB.exe to http://dl.secunia.com/SPS/Firefox Setup 11.0 de-DE.exe for a german version of Firefox. But at the end of the package creation process I get an error, that the file cannot be found. I'm having real troubles with non-english (normally german) versions of programs. UPDATE: In the update package of Firefox 8 to Firefox 11 I found http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-11.0&... (it has the status of Localised URL Added By User). I've got this additional file to include after clicking the Add Localisation (Language) File and choosing German. In the Update Package of Mozilla Firefox 10 to 11.0 the Button Add Localisation (Language) File doesn't work. So I've tried to add http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-11.0&... as Add Download Link. After this I see this File as to be included in the package, but the status is To Be Dynamically Downloaded. And it seems not to work, because after the update is installed on a test machine Firefox has the version of 11.0, but the user interface is english. Any help or hint would be highly appreciated. Thanks Roland |

Hello, "with a little help from my friend..." (Secunia) I've figured out, how to install firefox 11 in german. In the update package firefox 8 to firefox 11 I was able to get Additional language files. So I found the link for the german version is http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-11.0&... After knowing the link I modified the update package in step 2: I've removed the default File(s) to include in the package and added the link above (via the Add Download Link button). This worked for my Windows clients. Hope this helps other people to. Roland |
