When I run a scan I find that Surf Canyon, a search engine and Firefox extension, appears. However, it is not installed on my computer. I have contacted the company and told them of my plight but they can offer me no explanation. I have run a windows search and can't locate it. It does not appear as an alternative search engine Firefox in the Firefox search box nor is it present as an extension/ add-on; so it can't be deleted. I never installed it and am at a loss to understand how a Secunia scan can detect something that isn't there. Help, please. |

We need to see the Troubleshoot Report before we can hazard a guess http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal... -- This answer is provided “as-is.” You bear the risk of using it. |

Using the result of my latest scan, I removed the program. Problem solved. | ||||||||
