Secunia says Excel and Visio 2010 are unsafe however, Windows Update does not have any new updates available. I have installed Office SP! and am up to date on all Windows patches. I know I could tell PSI to ignore but the better solution would be for PSI to realize Office is completely updated. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I installed SP1 when it first came out quite a while ago.

Thank you.

Try a reinstall of the offending files from here:

EXCEL
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/search.asp...

VISIO VIEWER
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/search.asp...

Select the version of Office U have installed - I suspect the 32 Bit option which is Microsoft default.

There is no requirement to uninstall anything just let the installers run.

Once complete REBOOT then run a FULL PSI scan.

Has that fixed it?

I tried installing manually but I'm getting "An error occurred while running detection". I also tried the 64-bit version with the same results. I tried to repair Office through Programs and Features and I got an error message that "Office configuration did not complete successfully". So now I'm thinking I need to uninstall/reinstall Office. Thanks for your help.
