Just had a case (Win 7/64) where the sys tray icon shows PSI in red, but opening the app it showed me all up to date. The last scan was 24 hours ago. Only when I scanned again would it reset the icon to green. Something I've noticed consistently with PSI 3, and I see another thread about this, is that updating manually through PSI seems to take forever, as if PSI has bought server tickets for the caboose. I've come not to use it, because it's usually much faster just to go to the site in question. Update: Several hours and another computer session later the same thing happened again with the tray icon. |

Seems to be showing red every reboot now, even though there's nothing to update. Uninstall/reinstall didn't fix it. Wild guess: Is there be a setting in CCleaner that would effect the Notification Area icons in Win 7? |
