using another program, I scanned my software and found two that Secunia PSI had not seen. I scanned with Secunia again and still not notification. The two were Adobe Flash and Oracle Java. |

Since you do not quote the versions detected, I can only guess Java PSI only updates to patch vulnerabilities. Java 7 Update 3 or Java 6 Update 31 do not have any vulnerabilities; so PSI will not update to Java 7 Update 4 or Java 6 Update 32. Flash Player It has been noticed that PSI may treat an out of date Flash Player as a zombie when both the ActiveX for Internet Explorer and the Firefox Plugin are installed. If you have not updated, I would download the latest Flash Player for the browser which is out of date from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. Allow automatic updates for Flash Player and the new updater will get all installed Flash Players up-to-date in future. -- This answer is provided “as-is.” You bear the risk of using it. |
