Since a couple of days I experience on two PCs that PSI 3.0 indicates "Preparing update Opera 11.x (64 bit)", although I never had installed Opera. What might be causing this? |

If U click on show programs can U see a Opera Icon anywhere on that page? If so, right click on it & select Show Details It will give U the path of where to find that installation. -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

It points to c;\preboot\opera\opera.exe The directory can be displayed from PSI "Show details", but I can't find it with a file manager. I wonder what I have got here. |

I think the preboot folder is associated with Lenovo Rescue and Recovery. PSI won't update this successfully and you will probably end up with an unwanted installation of Opera. For the time being you need to use the ignore option. -- This answer is provided “as-is.” You bear the risk of using it. |
