Secunia tells me there is a vulnerability in SummatraPDF 1.x, however I installed V2.x. WHich program has the bug, Secunia or Summatra, or NovaBackup which distributed SUnnatra with their software? |

The report requested is below. I am wondering why v1.x is detected when I updated to v2.2.1 (Summatra PDF). Some programs can be difficult to update for various reasons, the following window contains information that can be used to troubleshoot why it is difficult to update this specific program on your PC. If you still can't solve the problem after investigating the data in this report, we recommend that you copy and paste the content from "---START---" to "---END---" into a new thread in our Secunia Community Forum where tousands of users are ready to help you. ---START--- Program Name: SumatraPDF 1.x Security State: End-of-Life Download Link: http://kjkpub.s3.amazonaws.com/sumatrapdf/rel/Suma... Thanks for the help. I finally figured it out after my second cup of coffee. The update installed in a separate directory not in the Novastor directory. A simple copy and paste took care of the issue. | ||||||||

Good to hear it is working again. On that basis, I will lock this thread for U sometime tomorrow unless U post back asking for it to be left open. This will protect your mail box from possible update emails from "tag on" posts You can of course lock threads U have created. Just click the ACCEPT button in the post of the helper who offered U the best solution/advice to solve your problem. Secunia Support can always reopen threads by applying by email to: support@secunia.com -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |
