Hello all, Just installed the latest PSI 3 beta 3. After a complete scan all seems fine. 100 % score and a green tray icon. Unfortunately after a reboot the tray icon starts red, opening the PSI 3 shows 100 % score. It needs a new scan – which took a long time – to have a green tray icon again. Tried an old Windows-XP solution: 'Turn off advanced text services for this program' for PSI.exe and for Control Panel / Languages settings. This solution didn't help. The PSI 3 beta3 even works better when I uncheck the “Start on boot”. After a reboot the PSI needs to be started manually; but starts with a green tray icon. PSI 3 beta is getting better, but not 100 % yet (on my PC). Windows XP home SP3 PSI 3 beta 3 (3.0.0.1001) Have a nice day, Websafe. |

It's a beta; it's not supposed to be 100% ready. In any case, I reported something similar three weeks ago. Since a reinstall, it hasn't been a problem. Update: Having written that, the problem reoccurred later in the day on a restart. Sys Tray icon is red; open PSI and it shows green, up to date; close it and the icon is still red; reopen and scan again (per what app box says), which finally turns the icon to green. |
