Hi! If user is running firefox and I deploy flash update it will failed. Is there any way to update flash, while firefox is running? I must shutdown computer hard way, because it keeps showing Installing update... after reboot. Any suggestion or this is not possible? |

U have posted to the CSI Forum. Are U a Corporate Client? If so Secunia are unlikely to respond before Monday. If U have mis posted, which version of PSI are U running & is the automatic update feature set by default? -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

yeah, we basically had the same problem with flash so we actually created our own package that is packed into a self-extracting installer. When a browser is opened a little pop-up will apear and tell the user to close the browser in the next ten minutes (or click ok and the browser will be closed). This is not the only scenario that updates will fail (or claim they are installed, although they were not) |

Maurice Joyce we use CSI. SmithJoe thank you for the tip. New flash updates automatically, but we still need to update it quarterly releases manually. |
