For a week or so now, PSI has been saying the following: The version detected of Microsoft Office Word 2007 was 12.0.6545.5000 while the latest version including one or more security fixes is 12.0.6661.5000. and The version detected of Microsoft Office Excel 2007 was 12.0.6565.5003 while the latest version including one or more security fixes is 12.0.6661.5000. When I go to MS Update, it tells me all of my MS software, including Office 2007, is up to date and no updates are available. I did some further research and came up with an MS hotfix that was supposed to bring Excel up to the version PSI says is the most recent, but the hotfix will not install. It errors out saying that "An error occurred while running detection." I haven't found an equivalent updater or hotfix for Word. |

I suspect U have a Service Pack missing. Please open Excel>Click the large orb (top left)>from the drop down box select EXCEL OPTIONS>now select RESOURCES> U will see this: https://public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pJcCktrBPhz... Click ABOUT. Can U tell me exactly what wording U have where I have highlighted in green. Are the details highlighted in yellow present? Please do not publish this detail -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 SP1 16GB RAM |
