I recently noticed (by accident) that a new version of the console and the client are available. The changelog for the console can be found at the download location: Added a "Do not email" option to the 'Configure New Report' wizard to allow users to download the report from the CSI Console Added "All hosts" and "All products" option in the 'Configure New Report' wizard, when selecting host level statistics and product level statistics Fixed various minor bugs I did not find a changelog for the client and now the question rises whether we should update the clients too. For small bugfixes or stuff that is not relevant we would rather not update the client on all machines, but for real improvements we would of course invest the time. any comments ? Thanks Joe |

By the client do you mean the CSI Agent? If yes then for the CSI Agent we have minor bug fixes (some changes in the version to align the Mac and Windows CSI Agent to the same version) -- Kind Regards, Oana Marin Solution Specialist |

Question: Does there exist a new version of the console csi.exe also? Currently I am using .1004 Next question: Is there a mechanism to announce such updates to the community? Would be very useful... |

Hi, You do have a new version of the CSI Agent for Mac OS; it's version 5.0.0.1006 There is a new version of the CSI Console (also version 5.0.0.1006). Currently we don't have a mechanism to notify our users for minor releases but we are working on implementing something in the near future. -- Kind Regards, Oana Marin Solution Specialist |
