The Vista Windows Updates site repeatedly installs same 2 updates successfully, but are there again on recheck. Secunia PSI reports this as Insecure. Each update has been installed 8 times and reported as successful with no change, hence I have yellow bars across my overview page with an updated computer. The installation path of Vista is labelled "NA". I have rescanned my computer after each attempted update. Any suggestions? I am running an HP Pavilion dv6626us laptop with an Intel Duo Core 2 CPU, 120 GB harddrive, and 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM. I'd appreciate any help offered.

This happened on older versions. Are U using the latest version of Secunia - v 1.0.0.3?

If not link is here:

Same problem. Windows update reports that all updates are installed successfully. But I am still getting an error showing Vista is not secure with a path NA. I am using the newest version of Secunia.

I kinda had the same problem with Vista, not Secunia PSI. If you run PSI in the Advanced mode I would think that PSI would show the path. What I eventually found out the program in question was actually in the backup partition. In order to get rid of this nag, I created a ignore rule for my d: drive which actually ia a partition. PSI will still scan this drive but will filter the results after the scan & quit the nag. Not saying this will work for you, but it may be worth a try. Good luck.

Regards, wr
