I know that there are more Filehippo users in the forum. Anyone seen this error? After installing today's MS updates updater doesn't work as usual. After one of the reboots this afternoon it showed one update for Adobe reader 10.1.4 and two for Adobe Flash, 11.3.300.271. Rescan for updates works, view results not. Uninstalled & reinstalled, no change. After clicking on 'view results' I get a popup with: launch errot 1156, an error occurred white sending an instruction to the application. Any ideas? -- PC: JJ Computer Services Intel Core I3 2100 3.1Ghz DDR3 Kingston ValueRam 4GB 1333 Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits SP1 Secunia PSI 3.0 v. 3.0.0.6005 Internet Explorer 9 Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1NL Laptop: MSI GT780DX Intel Core I5-2450 DDR3 RAM 6GB Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits SP1 Secunia PSI 3.0 v. 3.0.0.6005 Internet Explorer 10 Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1NL |

Hello LK , If it helps , no FH problems on my XP SP3 32 bit after all M$ , Adobe and other updates . In addition, FH is offering Oracle Java 7 update 6 (1.7.0.6) 32-bit but this is not yet showing on the Get Java site (it may be on the full Oracle site) . Take care Anthony -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |

Hello Anthony, glad to hear you aren't a 'victim'. Because I don't use Java, for me no problem. In the meantime I found out that Filehippo has no official support but I was able to send them a mail via their site, However, they explain that they get 'too many' mails and don't promise to reply. I 'begged' them to reply and I wait and see. I hope that if there are more forum members experiencing this problem they let me know. -- PC: JJ Computer Services Intel Core I3 2100 3.1Ghz DDR3 Kingston ValueRam 4GB 1333 Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits SP1 Secunia PSI 3.0 v. 3.0.0.6005 Internet Explorer 9 Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1NL Laptop: MSI GT780DX Intel Core I5-2450 DDR3 RAM 6GB Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits SP1 Secunia PSI 3.0 v. 3.0.0.6005 Internet Explorer 10 Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1NL |

Hello Anthony, It's obvious that Filehippo isn't willing to reply e-mails. My 'workaround' is simple: I let the updater warn me for updates and then find other ways to update my software. I'll close the thread now. -- PC: JJ Computer Services Intel Core I3 2100 3.1Ghz DDR3 Kingston ValueRam 4GB 1333 Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits SP1 Secunia PSI 3.0 v. 3.0.0.6005 Internet Explorer 9 Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1NL Laptop: MSI GT780DX Intel Core I5-2450 DDR3 RAM 6GB Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits SP1 Secunia PSI 3.0 v. 3.0.0.6005 Internet Explorer 10 Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1NL |
