When I run OSI, it indicates I need Flash Player Update, however, when I run PSI 2.0, it indicates Flash Player is up to date - no problems. What's the deal that they don't agree? |

It sounds like the OSI is detecting a zombie file. The PSI should also detect the file but since zombie files pose a minimal threat to the system, the PSI has functionality to make the detection less visible in the interface. The “#” column in PSI 2.x will show you the number of detected instances and clicking the “+” will reveal its exact location on your computer. I found my problem - it pertains to Google Chrome - the old version of Google Chrome must be removed when the new one is installed, or it may result in an error in the Flash Player associated with it. I deleted the previous version of Chrome and Secunia OnLine is happy now. Sorry for the post - I should have checked this out before posting. | ||||||||
