I ran PSI on my Win7 laptop earlier and found that my v14.0.1.4577 was End-of-Life. PSI couldn't auto-update because Firefox "was in use". I went to Mozilla's site which confirmed that I needed v15 but when I clicked OK, instead of just getting on with the update - the norm - it said I was trying to open a binary file & gave me an option of save or cancel. I saved and eventually the update failed. I went to my XP desktop - same message in PSI but when I opened Firefox there is no message about update needed. Someone else has had a problem with the update: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/935835?... I've just updated to v15 on my Win7 laptop. I went to the first help tag, ignored the second help tag and instead opened the 'about firefox tag.
