hi - this is tbone2 who cannot get Google Chrome 21.1180.83 to update on a newly installed PSI 3.0 - am wondering if it's worth keeping Chrome if this is a toughie to solve, simpler to just do with plain Google

any thoughts ? thanx

I think maybe, in part, you've answered your own question. Whatever version of psi I've used, it's usually been simpler to manually update Chrome...particularly at times of a platform change; ( which 21.0.1180.89 isn't ) : .....making sure to remove the old file/version ( in this case being the 21.0.1180.83 ) before scanning;
I can't comment on the particular anomaly that you're experiencing with psi 3 as I run 2.0.0.3003.
Nevertheless, hope the foregoing is of some help..........regards.......

Glad to hear you've got yourself sorted. Tho' I have run Chrome Stable in times past....I perhaps should have mentioned that I usually run the Dev/Canary versions....neither of which, and also the Beta , are monitored by psi. The procedure for updating being the same....tho' being a possible junior class senior I'm still managing without the reminders !!
As you mentioned Yorkshire.....you might like to look out for one taffy078 on the forum.....he's spending his second childhood sampling teas and beers in the Ridings.....a jovial kinda chappie whom nature blessed with a never ending capacity for humour......probably more derived from his earlier heritage than where he later found himself !!!
As the originator of the thread you have the option to close it at any time.....by pressing Accept....that will negate the possibility of tag-on posts and reminder e mails.
Toodle-pip ?! I'm sort've more "cheers....tara.....see ya " !!! Yeah....you could've well been on taffy's side of the tracks !!! All the best.....regards........
