Just installed ver 3.0.0.3001 on a Win 7 professional 64bit computer. This is first time install. When doing the origanal first time scan, it hangs on the updating scanning results. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Always hangs at the same place. I have used PSI on other computers and have always liked it. Any suggestions? |

Please try the steps outlined in this FAQ entry. http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal... Please pay special attention to the last part about the “Secunia Update Agent” and “Secunia PSI Agent”. |

Thanks for the response. However, this is a work computer and the IT dept. has seen fit to block certain settings from being changed, so I am not able to try your solution. I have liked the program for years and will continue to use it at home. | ||||||||

The PSI is for personal use on private PC’s only. Please see the License Agreement for details, it is available when running the PSI installer just prior to the actual installation. Please feel free to use the PSI on your home computer. |
